If you wish to use the collaboration pages to discuss things other than independent music, live events or items related to the core mission, you will need to collaborate before doing so.
I noticed that you manually edited the collaboration page and made no contributions that could be considered helpful to the purpose of this website. I do appreciate the fact that you were discussing Danny Schmidt's lyrics and, in that, were within the guidelines of this website.
I do not appreciate you coming to your talk page and immediately becoming contentious concerning "complaints" and "the management". For the time being, I am the management and you will not circumvent me or attempt to circumvent me or create a problem on this site for me. If you do, I will immediately deny you access once again permanently.
I am setting the record straight at the outset Ben. If you do not wish to follow the rules or you wish to debate or otherwise challenge my authority on this website, do not continue to access it. I have spent a great deal of time and emotional effort re-focusing this site on the core mission and I will not let a few people who have a bone to pick with me or are not interested in listening via the stream and/or collaborating on the site's mission ruin it for everyone else. I am happy to forgive and forget. The choice is, and always was, yours.

Would you think this image

- Generally we have not been too concerned with the image copyrights since most images come from the artist website and are for positive promotional purposes. I don't think it's necessary to email an artist (and risk being a pest or associating WWR with being pestlike) to ask about a photo. In the coming weeks all the activee artists will be emailed and asked to come see their pages and make changes etc. or withdrawal from WWR if they don't want to participate. That'd be a good chance for Philip to make changes etc.
- That is not policy - just suggestions on my part. If you would like to write him on your own and do it in a way that expresses your sincere concern in doing the "right thing", I have no problem with that. Oh, and hotlinking an image isn't good practice. It's so easy to upload it directly from a URL to this site and serve it here using our bandwidth that there's no reason to hotlink. Media Players
I started working on a page to describe portable and mobile WWR listening. I did check the category list for mobile and portable and PDA but somehow I missed Media Player the first time through. Anyhow, I tried to shoe-horn what I had done in, in the least-squares minimum violence way, but I'm certainly enough of a Wiki newbie to appreciate any advice on what the Right Way to have done this would have been. - Describing players is fine -and appreciated- Ben. I'm not sure exactly what changes you are referring to as I don't follow all the Recent Changes but I'm guessing what you did was probably okay. If not, it'll get corrected down the road. That said, - remember that putting a specific link to pages/problems you want to discuss makes it easy for anyone to see exactly what you are discussing. If you want to do that, then I can see specifically what you may be asking for help on. I suspect you're talking about Portable_and_Mobile_WWR which looks great to me! Thanks! New Rules
I see by checking your talk page, that the rules here may have changed since I was last here. Before I don't think there was a required contribute section to be able to chat. Interesting. So does that automatically give you the ability to chat when you contribute, or do you have to fill out a request? Does rating songs count?
Anyhoo, I posted this here partially because I remember chatting with Zben a bit when I was last here, some time ago. Good to see you still around Zben.
