If you've visited Whole Wheat Radio's chat, chances are you probably bumped into me. I'm there more frequently than I care to admit.
Who am I? Well, I'm a single, once-young transgendered person, living somewhere in the southern US, and have been in the broadcasting biz for nearly half my life.
I draw a bit, and have started a webcomic (Martha and Rick) that few have heard of.
I wrote and recorded a grand total of one song. Trust me, I can't sing very well.
I'm usually very friendly and welcoming to other Wheatheads. But I admit I have my moody moments.

I hadn't been out for a while, so last Saturday I returned to the Mockingbird Cafe. I was planning on dining alone but ran into some friends and sat with them. Performing that night were the Red Dirt Girls, who also called themselves the Bothy Gals when they played Celtic instead of American folk. One member of the group couldn't show, due to illness or other commitment, and Sharla June, who normally plays with a group called The Mayhaws, filled in. Sharla got to perform songs from her recent CD, and did a fine job. I told her about WWR and she gave me a copy of her CD to send on to Jim.
