I just read this in an email I received: The following is the 2007 winning entry from an annual contest at Texas A&M University calling for the most appropriate definition of a contemporary term. This year's term was Political Correctness.

The winner wrote,

"Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical Minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Hopefully, I will have some time to add things to this page that may or may not help define who, or what, I am.

How did I find WWR? One day while at work I decided to check out a blues stream from Korea that a friend told me about. I found it, but it was full. Needing to here some good blues that day, I turned to winamps' site and did a search for blues stations. After listening to a couple of very commercial streams, I saw WWR. Since I have spent some time vacationing in Alaska (in the Nome area), I was caught by location. Little did I know that this was simply a trap being set by the evil genius, Jimbob, to assert his own type of mind control on an unsuspecting populous. Be warned: if you listen to this stream, especially the rants, you will soon be refusing to shower more than once a month, you will disconnect your running water, and you will will install an outhouse in your backyard.

I finally made it back from Thailand. After 18 hours of flight time with one hour lay-over in Tokyo, I'm surprisingly awake. Got home in time to go to the post office and pick up the last 2 weeks of mail. Here is a picture of the best part of the stack of mail. In case you're having trouble identifying everything in the phot, there are 2 Steve Durr cds, A Steve Durr poster, 2 Jennifer Matthews cds, 2 Meg Hutchinson cds, 2 packs of Smarties, Some advertisements from the GreatLander Bushmailer, and 4 more cds from the library: The Vandalays, The Funky Mustard Band, Mojo Collins, and Nathaniel Street West. Jim, thank you very much for the extra gifts. I've really enjoyed the other cds you sent before, I can't wait to listen to all of these.
