About me
I live in West Alexandria, OH (about 20 minutes outside of Dayton) with my wonderful wife Dana, my son Kyle, 2 boxers (Winston & Holly) and too many cats to mention by name.
I spent almost 20 years in the technology industry before quitting in 2005 to go to work for myself as a Realtor. After working in Real Estate full time since 2005, I went to work for The Berry Company as an Account Executive in June of 2008.
I'm a former band geek and my son is a trumpet toting band geek!
Where I live
West Alexandria, OH. We are a small, rural farming community that thankfully has high speed internet access. We are half way between Dayton, OH and Richmond, IN.
My interests / hobbies
I love all kinds of technology, and yes, I'm an Apple Macintosh user! Currently working with JavaScript, Ajax & Ruby, as well as Mac Xcode. I'm seldom seen without my iPod as well. As of late, I'm spending time with Photoshop Elements 6 on my Mac and love it!
I love to read (a gift from my late mother, thanks mom!) and listen to music. TV is more of a distraction so I watch more DVD's than anything else when it's on. I love to play my guitar (it's my stress relief) and have an unhealthy fascination with Les Pauls(I have a 1960 Re-issue). I just got my first Les Paul SG (Epiphone Custom Shop in Alpine White) July of 2008 and can't believe how great it plays for being so light.
I'm a former ham radio operator (Dayton has the largest ham radio convention - Hamvention - each year).
I love to play with Legos with my son. I hope he never outgrows them. He's also a train collector and we have a train room in our basement.
I love to cook and my wife and I enjoy making all kinds of home made goodies when time permits. I'm not a baker though, don't have the patience for it.

How I found WWR
Completely by accident. I was reading a friends BLOG and she mentioned one of the artists featured on WWR (I don't remember who) and they had a link from their site. A few clicks later and I was on the mighty WWR site. I started listening and looking at the photo archives and was hooked.
I'm glad users understand my screen name as well. Buckwheat is for "Buckeye" + "Wheathead". Nothing offensive is intended. I guess I could have chosen "Buckethead" but that would just be wrong!
