I have many goals. One is to learn enough about the Cree language that I can converse in it. A site that is very helpful and worth exploring for anyone is:
: Lac La Ronge Indian Band

In Woodland Cree this time of year is called Opiniyawiwipism (should be a macron over some of the vowels.) It means egg laying moon.


I enjoy a whole array of music. I try to make a special effort to support Canadian home grown music. I have heard one Dave Francey tune several times. I am a huge fan. There is not a song of his that I do no not like.
