Aexdesign (aex) - formal name Stewart - I live in Northern California (Sierra Foothills) in the small village of Meadow Vista (95722). Weather here is "textbook" four seasons, with very hot summers and mild winters. Spring arrives in February, but we've had over a foot of snow as late as April. Summer heat can hit in May, and we typically see 40-degree temperature swings in mid-summer (from 100+ F down to 50s at night). Tucked among the Ponderosa Pines and Black Oaks, we're in a pretty idyllic setting. Lots of migrating birds, a couple of herds of deer pass over my acre daily. Weather in Meadow Vista

I discovered WWR in early 2007 and can't get enough of the music and Wheathead community...In addition to some useful collaboration (most of it months ago), I helped populate the WWR ZOO!

As a self-employed consultant, I'm always looking for more marketing/advertising/PR projects, or racing to meet a deadline. Married for 35 years, we have two grown children. Our daughter is a Chiropractor and Nutrition Consultant, and our son is off finding himself at 24 years old. My wife teaches at an elementary school in Auburn, the county seat about 10 miles from our home. She loves riding her horse, Johnny Cash (the man in black) on miles and miles of trails around here.

Local Fire Fully Contained

As of this morning (July 31), the "American River Complex" fires near us are fully contained, and the air is substantially improved. With relatively cool temperatures (a high of 90° F and 50's at night), summer weather is finally enjoyable!
