About the song

Who Knows Where the Time Goes was written by Sandy Denny - who is a minor Deity amongst folk rock fans in the UK. This song, one of the first (the first?) she wrote in 1968 and which she sang on Fairport's album 'Unhalfbricking' has been widely covered - notably by Judy Collins.

Barbara Dickson is a good singer, but this is a terrible version of Sandy Denny's song. An English song sung by a Scottish singer complete with synthetic 'Celtic' backing instruments. Listen to the original if you can. DaveR 23:45, June 4, 2006 (AKDT)
