Using "Search"
To search for images:

- Click "Search".
- A page opens with the search results.
Note: At the bottom of the page are checkboxes for the namespaces you want to search. If "Image" is not checked, check it and click "Search".
Note: Since most of the images uploaded to the WWR website do not have descriptions, this doesn't work very well.
Organizing images
Make galleries
Make a gallery, or galleries, of the photos you upload.
Add descriptions
When you upload an image, enter descriptive info about the image in the "Summary" box. The info you put in this box can be found by Searching. If you use a unique word, like Estherphotos, you'll be able to easily find them later using "Search".
Descriptions can be added after uploading by going to the images page and editing it. (Go to the image page. Click "Edit". Enter info. Save.)
Make a category
Make a category for your images.
- Go to an image you've uploaded.
- Click "Edit".
- Enter [[Category:My images]], using a name you'd like for the My images part.
- Click "Save".
The first time you do this the category link will be red. Click it. The edit page opens. Enter a description of the category. Also, if you'd like add this category to the galleries category, type [[Category:Galleries]]. Click "Save".
After this is set up every time you upload a file, enter the Step 3 category code in the "Summary" box.
You can also add the category code to any images you uploaded prior to making the category.
(See Category:Sparkit images for an example.)
Photos from Talkeetna and other WWR-specific images
This is a unique Jimbob thing. The wiki treats these as "external" images, meaning the "Thumbnail" tags and wiki markup for images do not work. However, you can copy any of the images to your hard drive, and upload them in order to use wiki markup.
