| 8:02 am | | Kazookid (talk/contribs) | That's 12,000 artist and bio images in 8 months if I use my lowest figures, and there have been many weeks when I have deleted over 2000 images from my recycle bin each week for weeks at a time (The images in My recyle bin are all Artist images I've found and uploaded to WWR). I 'm reasonably sure i have uploaded over 30,000 artist and bio images at this point, and that is not counting 6000 -9000 I know Mert has uploadied, plus many thousands that all you other Wheaties have uploaded, plus the 1000s and 1000 Jim himself alone has uploaded. Clearly, the number of of Artist and Artist-bio images uploaded has reached or nearing the 100,000s in the last 8 months, SOMETHING IS CLEARLY NOT CORRECT and is deleting images at a steady and predigious rate. |

That's somewhere between 1500 and 3000 images a month, I have been doing that steadily since January, at that rate, and for a few months at twice that rate. There are less than 3000 Artist's in the library, That is a little under 6000 images, What is wrong with that picture? Clearly something is not right. |

That speaks to me of Bots busily working away in the backround. And as Jim ain't here to fix it right now, we need to move fast. As this thing whatever it is not only deletes the current image, it deletes all previous revisions at the same time. Every time this happens I have to hit the web and track down a new image all over again. There's less than 3000 Artists in the library, with a little comprehensive help from my fellow wheaties w e should be able to " bump" all the artist page in a couple of hours at the most, it is quick and easy to do. |

Instead, clink on links to Artist Pages, then open the image links in a new tab, and if either lmage Page says "No pages link to this file" then pop back to the Artist page and do the Edit/ Save thing. |

I've found that if you go to the artist page of an unlinked image and click the edit button like you are going to make and edit, then just click the save button, the images will relink to the artist page. |
