User e-mail addresses

My user page used to have my e-mail address listed. Checking other users, I do not see their e-mail addresses listed. Is this a permanent change? Just curious...... Sharpston (talk/contribs) 14:54, June 30, 2008 (AKDT)

Nope, you won't ever see other people's email addresses. If you did, you could spam them. Leave the spamming to me. Thanks. -Mr. "Spam" Monkey
On further reflection, I think you meant that there was a link to sending an email. That is on the left-hand menu now, on user pages, where it says, "E-mail this user". That's where Wikipedia put it so that's where I put it. -M. Monkey
Yes, Mr. Monkey, thank you for understanding my question. It was poorly worded. But, I still cannot find "e-mail this user" on my user page? Or on a few if the other user pages that I thought might have enabled WWR email.
It is not exactly on the user page. When you go to a user page, scroll down and look on the left hand menu. "E-mail this user" is located below the search box. Basically, it only appears in the left hand menu when you go to a user page. Kelli (talk/contribs) 12:27, July 8, 2008 (AKDT)
