I saw lucky enough to see Tamara Podemski at the Sleeping Lady Resort in Leavenworth,WA , with fellow Wheatheads, Rez Dog , Shopvacmaggie and Fine-line and her two strapping sons at their Winter Solstice celebration in December 2005. What a great voice and some fine songs mixing modern rock/pop with her native roots. Tamara has recently won 2 Aboriginal Music Awards for Best Female Artist and Best Songwriter for "So Damn Beautiful" and "She Knows Better". Big Tom
