Annie Moscow's first musical aspirations were to become a concert pianist. Growing up in Philadelphia, she studied wtih David Sokoloff and Marian Zarzeczna of the Curtis Institute. She performed numerous recitals and appeared as a guest symphony soloist, all before she turned 17.
She married her high school sweetheart and fellow musician, Steve Gold (Philadelphia International Records) and they became a songwriting duo. Throughout the 1980s and 90s, they wrote together for film, television and major recording artists ranging from Mickey Mouse to Sister Sledge to Sarah Vaughn. BILLBOARD MAGAZINE said of their music “Not to be missed.”
In 1994, Annie Moscow and Steve Gold wrote and produced a CD for children, “LAND OF THE DIAMOND SUN”, which resulted in three national radio hits. As a result of their CD’s success, they spent the next five years touring the country as children’s performers. In 2001, Annie Moscow stepped out as a solo (adult) Artist, with the release of her debut CD, "Wolves at My Door." The album has received critical acclaim and her music has been featured on radio stations throughout the country.
Annie Moscow currently lives in Arizona with her husband, Steve Gold, and their son Alex. She is at work on her second CD which is due out in 2006.
